We played our first game at Willamette Park last Wednesday - what a beautiful location! If you've ever dreamed of flying through the air to catch a frisbee in the setting sun, next to a shimmering body of water, then live the dream with us on Wednesdays. We had a great turnout.
This Sunday we might see a little sprinkle, but it will be great weather nonetheless. Meet at SW Duniway Park (corner of SW Barbur Blvd and SW Sheridan) at 1pm. Bring a light shirt and a dark shirt. I won't be there, so bring frisbees if you got'em and have a great game!
Looks great. Would it be possible to extend the game to 1.5 hours? I arrived and the pickup was done by 2.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's unusual that it didn't go very long. Typically we go until 3 or sometimes 4. I'm not sure why it didn't go very long, but if you show up at 2 again I can almost guarantee we will still be playing barring any terrible weather events.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so apparently there was a soccer game that took over the lower field, which means the game moved to the upper field. Did you check out the field that is a bit uphill from the big one? We're going to have to move the time around to avoid the soccer players in the future.
