Yep... bring a light shirt and a dark shirt. There are two fields, so make sure you check the far field (past the tennis courts) if you don't see us right away.

This week we're meeting a little later. If you aren't able to make it because it's late in the day, stay tuned until the middle of July when we'll move to an earlier time again.

Sunday Game Time is Changing to 4PM

Um, so, a soccer league has rented the field at Duniway from noon-4pm on Sundays. This means we will have to go earlier or later. I've decided later is better, so just a preliminary heads up that the game will be moving to 4pm until at least July 10th when the soccer league is done.

Ultimate at 1pm at Duniway Park

We played our first game at Willamette Park last Wednesday - what a beautiful location! If you've ever dreamed of flying through the air to catch a frisbee in the setting sun, next to a shimmering body of water, then live the dream with us on Wednesdays. We had a great turnout.

This Sunday we might see a little sprinkle, but it will be great weather nonetheless. Meet at SW Duniway Park (corner of SW Barbur Blvd and SW Sheridan) at 1pm. Bring a light shirt and a dark shirt. I won't be there, so bring frisbees if you got'em and have a great game!

Wednesday Game 6pm Willamette Park

The Wednesday game has been moved over to Willamette Park on the waterfront (SW Macadam Ave & Nebraska St), to ensure that we have a full-size field to play on. We meet at 6pm on Wednesdays. Bring a light shirt and a dark shirt.

Welcome to Ultimate Frisbee at Duniway

After years of playing ultimate frisbee at Duniway Park in Portland, Oregon, it seems about time to put some organization into it. The pick-up game started by a wonderful fellow named Brian began as a Sunday game only. It has now expanded into mid-week, with a Wednesday game that has become active just this year.

If you are interested in playing, we currently have a Sunday game at 1pm and a Wednesday game at 6pm. These times are likely to change, so come back for any updates.

SW Duniway Park is on the corner of SW Barbur Blvd and SW Sheridan Ave. There are two fields and we usually play at the large lower one, but if you don't see us there, you can usually find us just a short walk up the hill at the upper field.

Our group is mostly comprised of young adults in their 20's and 30's, but don't let that deter you if you are over or under these ages. We have played with teenagers, seniors and all the in between groups too. Beginners are always welcome.

Players should bring a light shirt and a dark shirt so that we can even out the teams as needed. Many people wear cleats to the game, but they aren't necessary. Some people play barefoot. It's up to you. Just show up ready to run and you're good to go.
